Industry Training Authority (ITA) oversees the trades training and certification in BC. We are a government agency, that job seeker can approach in order to understand how to start or complete an apprenticeship.
Once you are an apprentice, your employer sponsor will record your work hours with the ITA to ensure you are progressing to obtain your certification. Your training levels will also be recorded. Upon finishing your apprenticeship, ITA will deliver the certification.
