The Seniors Engagement Through Technology (SETT) project is an initiative dedicated to educating and supporting seniors in use of technology to enhance social connections and engagement within the community and their personal network. The focus of SETT is to ensure seniors receive accessible technology support and training that is inclusive and simplified for their understanding. Seniors can also receive hardware (iPads) through a loaning program to be able to participate in the project, who otherwise might not have resources to do so. Program Highlights:1. A Day in the Life
As a Production Operator, you are responsible to work with the team to start up, run, shutdown and maintain our labelling lines. ● Support Warehouse team members in wrapping, banding and stacking as well as loading and removing pallets once completed
● Report mechanical issues to Lead or Production Manager for resolution
● Work with team to submit production data (ie. can and label waste) accurately and legibly at the end of the shift
● Ensure cleanliness and organization of work space including tidying sleeving section, picking up labels and cans and removing garbage and recycling as necessary

· Setting up and operating equipment for production, changing over product, and shutting down machinery for clean up
· Retrieving ingredients from the warehouse using a pallet/power jack; sealing and returning unused ingredients to the warehouse
· Following a recipe and accurately weighing and measuring ingredients
· Able to scan and verify tags
· Ensuring quality of products meet Company standards by reporting raw materials used and identifying lot information on production forms, and communicating with other departments
· Labeling finished products with lot information and transferring to and from the cooler
· Maintaining a clean working environment, including cleaning the floor, washing and drying, and returning bins and buckets
